Yesterday afternoon at Adeniji Adele, Dolphin Estate, Phase 2, A little girl ran into a woman's shop crying. When asked what the problem was, the little girl couldn't really express herself, rather he just kept pointing towards a particular direction, crying.
Few minutes later, the woman saw a man approach her shop, calling on the girl to follow him. The woman asked the man who he was and why he beckoned on the girl. When he realized the woman wasn't going to let go of the her until he properly identified himself, he took to his heels.
On seeing this, the woman raised alarm immediately screaming "ole! ole!!! Thinking he was a child kidnapper, whereas the man had done much worse.
Youths in the area came to the woman's aid and fiercely descended on him. The man insisted he was no kidnapper or thief, and that he was familiar with the 3 year old girl in question. As a result, the angry mob turned to the girl and pressured her to tell them what the guy had done to her. She then told them that the man had taken her to the last floor of a 3 story building and hurt her. This prompted them to check the girl's panties and saw blood all over her private area.
On hearing this, the angry youths descended on him once again, this time, almost beating him to death. He was stripped naked, and objects like sticks, stones, bottles, etc were used on him, before the intervention of the police who took him man away.
