There are only two episodes left on "The Walking Dead" season 5. In the penultimate episode to air next week, Rick starts to show signs of disagreement with the people in Alexandria and their rules.
"They don't know what they're doing. Their rules.... We don't answer to them," Rick says in a preview for the new episode, as the scene shows him having an intense conversation with Rep. Monroe.
Meanwhile, people are seen running frantically after a man yells and Sasha is aiming her gun at a girl who seems to be running away. A clip for the episode also shows Michonne looking reluctant to wear her uniform and starting to worry when she learns that Sasha spent the night in the tower and hasn't returned in the morning.
"Try" airs Sunday, March 22 at 9/8c on AMC. According to the episode synopsis, "when life within the walls begins to mimic life outside, the group realizes that sheltered life may not be possible."
At the SXSW in Austin, "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman said that "one day 'The Walking Dead' will end," which surprised executive producer David Alpert. Kirkman, however, added, that there's still a long way to go before the day comes.
"It's a long arc. I don't anyone to ever get the impression that it's like, 'Oh, this is popular so I have to keep this going for years and years'," he explained, much to fans' relief. "I definitely know the story that we are telling and I know how the story that we are telling ends."
